Ottawa

We positively loved Ottawa! Before going to Canada, we didn't realize that Ottawa is the NATION'S capitol city. And we didn't know it was super cool. If we had known all of that we would have stayed longer! Since we were at Fitzroy Provincial Park (near Ottawa) for such a short time, and Fitzroy is about an hour away, we decided to splurge and spend one night in a hotel in Ottawa. So glad we did!

The city is vibrant and has so many FREE things to see and do. Two of the highlights for me were the "Northern Lights" show on the Parliament Building and a short-term exhibit (I don't remember the name) of statues made out of plants.
