The Grand Tetons are so beautiful! We spent one day driving around the general area, looking at other potential boondocking sites that had views of the Tetons. Then we spent another day in the park itself.
Silly me, I didn't realize there were several lakes in the park! These photos are of Jenny Lake and Jefferson Lake. Both are very lovely and magical.
I was surprised at all of the concessionaires there. There are numerous stores, restaurants, visitor centers, etc. Not like most of the Parks we've visited to date.
The visitor center has a really interesting way of pointing out what each peak in the Tetons is called. They have metal lines in the huge wall of windows that faces the Tetons. Each line points to a peak and tells you what it is. The visitor center itself is a marvelous display of architecture as well!
