Downtown Sedona & Coconino National Forest

Our next guests were our good friends Jenny and Mary. We decided to spend a little time shopping downtown -- they needed to buy a wedding gift for a friend -- and then had lunch at a Mexican cafe. Afterwards, we took a short albeit very nice hike along a river in the Coconino National Forest. It had rained the day before, so the river was flowing higher than normal which cut our trip short as we couldn't cross the river at one point in the hike and had to turn around. Didn't take Avery long to get an orange coat, though!

Later, we went a watched the sunset at the airport. The mud at the look out point was so thick that our shoes felt like they had been soaked in concrete.
