SHENANDOAH RIVER CAMPGROUND, NEAR THE NORTH ENTRANCE OF SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK, VIRGINIA: GPS 38.8491° N, 78.3074° W
This was a very nice campground. We stayed in one of the 6 or so pull-through sites. The rest were back-ins, but all really do-able.
The sites were large and spacious. The roads were easy to navigate.
I liked the proximity to the National Park. We were there in the fall and the colors were beautiful.
The bathrooms were nice as were the free showers.
The dump was very easy.
There was no verizon signal. AT&T had a marginal signal. T-Mobile was useless.
