RAINBOW FALLS - ROSSPORT CAMPGROUND, LAKE SUPERIOR: GPS 48.8384° N, 87.4449° W

This campground is a beautiful spot on Lake Superior. It's neighbor campground is White Sands, which we didn't stay at but we drove through, and didn't like it nearly as much.

Rossport had lovely clear water for great swimming, a beautiful coastline, and a nice staff. There were places nearby to take your dog swimming (a day use spot off the main road headed towards the town of Rossport from the campground). We also had site 23 for part of our stay which was lakefront and we were able to take Avery swimming at our campsite there.

The campground is only about an hour from Puksakwa National Park, which is AMAZING and a "must see."

Even though it was full, it didn't feel crowded. There was laundry and nice and clean showers. There were both flush toilets and clean drop toilets.

There was no dump except at White Sands and that one is challenging. The potable water was in a funny spot at Rossport where you had to block the road to fill up. The potable fill water was right near site 13, which was our first site.

VERIZON AT&T and T-Mobile were all adequate but we were only able to stream one night.
