RAINBOW BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK CAMPGROUND, NEAR DAUPHIN, MANITOBA, CANADA: GPS 51.1339° N, 99.8133° W
What I like about this campground is: there is a dog beach (big plus), a nice human beach, the water is pleasant to go in (both temperature and clarity), the sites are pretty easy to get into (I think this is the fastest we have backed into a site -- it was bay 1, 02), and the campground is not too difficult to navigate). It was about a 15 minute walk from our site to the dog beach which is past the human beach.
We had electricity, the dump station was easy, and there were showers. Our bay looped around a playground, which I suppose would be really nice for families with kids. There was also free firewood.
Ono the other hand, the campground itself is fairly non-descriptive. No spectacular views, nothing unusually good or bad. I personally would return, especially because of the beach options, but I'm not sure any site in particular is better than any other.
They had a easy dump with potable water.
We had Verizon and AT&T although neither were very strong.
