OLD SHIPYARD CAMPGROUND, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA: GPS 45.3550° N, 64.7109° W
This was a very fun campground. It had beautiful views, a lovely location, nice owners, and the fascinating tide changes of the Bay of Fundy: as much as 40 feet of tidal change during the day. You get a clear, clean Bay of Fundy at your doorstep
The campground had great campsites with the parking area on the "marsh" side but with a designated waterfront fire ring and picnic table on the bay side which were set back on the jetty 10 feet away from the tide (when it's in).
We were in space 2 which was fantastic.
It is small and quaint. It was peaceful and relaxing.
It was extremely pet friendly. There is a great beach for dog swimming (and people swimming).
The showers and laundry were based on the honor system.
We bought a giant bundle of wood for $5.
There are cabins which is nice if you want to have family or friends visit you but don't want them staying in your RV.
The campground also has an interesting history and a sweet lighthouse.
