NORTH STERLING STATE PARK, STERLING, COLORADO: GPS 40.7895, -103.2651
I need to preface this review by saying we didn't actually camp here... we drove in to take photos for the blog and check it out for you.
I liked that this campground was well spaced out. It was easy to navigate and parking would be fairly easy as well. Many (most?) of the sites would accommodate a large rig, even one as large as us (45 feet).
There were nice covered patios and good firepits at each site.
The views of the water were nice as well.
We liked the Inlet Grove and Chimney View campgrounds better than Elk Grove.
