LO LO MAI SPRINGS CAMPGROUND, OUTSIDE SEDONA: GPS 34.7749° N, 111.8998° W

We rated Lo Lo Mai this high based on a couple of things: the setting is really pretty, albeit funky (think hippy), the owners and staff are super nice and accommodating, and it has a variety camping options to include RV, tent, and cabins.

The owners are so kind that they even backed our trailer in for us! It was a bit of a tight spot, and he offered right away.

Some of the campsites are located along the creek and waterfall; others are under trees. We were there at the "least pretty time of year" (Feb) and they said that during Spring and Summer it is spectacular. I can believe that as it is an oasis of big trees in a desert of red rock.

We managed to talk them into a monthly rate. All of our friends seemed to want to visit us in Sedona, so we set aside the month of Feb to connect with everyone.

There are nice bathrooms with showers (free) and laundry facilities. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub, but they are closed in the winter so I can't really comment on them.
