COASTAL ACRES CAMPING, PROVINCETOWN, MASSACHUSETTS: GPS 42.0467° N, 70.2013° W
There are pluses and minuses to this campground.
It is extremely close to downtown Provincetown, which, by the way, is a super cool town that should be visited if you are in the area. It is only about a 10-15 min walk or 2 min drive (tough parking though, so walking is better).
It has good bathrooms and good showers. The showers were cheap but should have been free, given the price ($75 peak season/$65 off season) of the campground with only electric and water hookups.
The "field spots" were nice and open. Other spots are more typical of an RV park.
They are about to do a big remodel, so I don't know how this will change things. I wonder if the cost will go up even higher?
Nice people work there, it is very laid back.
We were there when it was empty, which we loved.
There was no laundry, which for an expensive RV park type of campground seemed unfortunate.
camp fires weren't allowed but this may be a state law?
Roads in campground narrow and not straight.
