STARS: 3.75 out of 5 (may improve because of ongoing renovations to the park)

CEDARS OF LEBANON STATE PARK, NEAR NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: GPS 36.0859° N, 86.3242° W

We chose this campground because of its proximity to Nashville.

 

We selected a site online, but were concerned about its size. When we called to ask questions about it, the woman was kind enough to tell us that it is a very unlevel site. She suggested that we drive around when we get there and pick from the sites that were available.

There were a couple of sharps curves for big rigs, but most of the sites were  straight pull-throughs.

The bathrooms were run down, but millions are currently being spent to renovate the entire park.

The sites were close together but long enough to stagger and not be staring into your neighbor's window.

 

As I mentioned, the staff were very nice and helpful.

Verizon and AT&T were both pretty weak.
