The location of this campground was acceptable, but still about an hour away from our intended destination, Carlsbad Caverns. I marked this down due to that (and not much else being around it) and also due to the unpleasant bathrooms and showers.
The bathrooms had the type of toilets that you sometimes see in beach areas, where there are no seat covers so there's no way to put down paper to protect you, and the cavity that you sit upon is cold metal. I'm having trouble describing it, but you would know what I mean when you saw them.
Perhaps bathrooms shouldn't be a big deal, but when you are trying to avoid doing some of your "business" in your RV's bathroom, it does matter.
Also, the bathrooms were quite a hike away for many of the sites, including ours.
In addition, the dump station had all sorts of obstacles and was quite narrow, so we actually opted to not dump for fear of damaging our rig.
One more things, there weren't any firepits! They had grills, but no where to build a fire. Kind of a bummer.
